We're going on a SHELL hunt

On our camping trip to Angelsea - we were lucky enough to be close to the beach
(a 5 min walk away)
So on our first day there, after setting our tents and everything we decided to take all the kids to the beach to see what sort of shells we could find....

Madison and Jacob lead the way..

We were able to have a little splash in the water as the tide
was coming in, this was as close to the water as Megan got -
every time the water came anywhere near her she ran away.

Madison really enjoyed the beach -
especially being able to hunt for shells with her mum and dad.

Scott and the girls being marooned on some rocks on the beach as
the tide came in around them.

The hunt for more shells lead us all the way up the beach,
in and out of little caves, and we looked in every
nook and cranny caused by the waves and water.

It was great to see the excitement on the girls faces looking
at all the beautiful rocks and shells.

It really makes you appreciate nature and the way she works.
