Look out world - here they come.....3 y.o. Kinder

They say that pictures say a 1000 words - but Sarah and I only have 4!

Since birth Megan and Charlotte have been inseperable.
There is only 12 weeks between them and they are the best of friends.
Always causing trouble, stubborn, have major attitude, but are the most sweetes kids you'll meet!

This year they started 3 y.o. kinder together, and they were both so excited!

Although this is Megan's second year of 3 y.o. kinder she is happy to be sharing it with Charlotte.

When I went to pick Megan up from her first day her teacher Naomi said that she had seen a different side to Megan. Last year she was very quiet and kept to herself most of the year.
However since 1 session with Charlotte (her partner in crime) there she has seen a very outgoing, talkitive and playful Megan.

So yes - Sarah and I aplogise in advance to the teachers - and maybe even their 4 y.o. teachers next year....they are a force to be reckoned with (lol)

But seriously look at the photo's - BUTTER WOULDN'T MELT IN THEIR MOUTHS!!

Madison's First day of School

I still can't believe that my baby is old enough to go to school.

She has been hanging out to go to school for so long.
Her older cousin Brooklyn was already at school and Madison couldn't wait to start learning - when I asked her what she was most excited about, she said she couldn't wait to learn to read.

She has a lovely teacher Ms. May, we could not have asked for a more softer and gentler teacher for our little 'fragile flower'.

She loves going and is egar to go to school every morning.

Madison's cousin Jacob also started school this year. It is scary how quickly they are growing up!

AUSTRALIA DAY 2010

This year to celebrate Australia Day we all went up to

Emerald Lake for a picnic.

It was a beautiful day, perfect really for such an occasion.

We hardly saw the kids, they were off in the playground, seeing Puffing Billy
(an old steam train that runs through the Dandenong Rangers),

eating lunch, swimming, seeing model trains, patting snakes,

grabbing turtles by the head and riding on the water bikes.

It was a great day with family.

It was spent in true Australian style.

I am so greatfull that we live in this country and we have the freedom that we have.

We are blessed with wonderful parklands, beautiful scenery and the ability to worship as we choose!
