Madison turned 3!

Our little Madame was 3 on the 18th of November.

Madison absolutley loves "Dora" so we threw her a Dora Party.

It was only a family affair as it was 30 degrees and just way too hot.

Madison loves to open her presents with her Daddy.

She was spoilt by everyone.

Granny made her Dora cake - and it was just perfect.

Madison did very well for her birthday - and was very spoilt
by everyone with Dora things.

Whilst she was opening her presents, she made a lovely remark

"Ohhh more Dora!"

It was also Uncle Adam's birthday (my brother)
so we had a joint birthday dinner on the Sunday evening.

Madison was then given a little kitchen and some utensils
from Granny and Pop.

The next day Madison and Megan went to Nanny's house
while I went to work and when asked by Nanny Susie what she
got for her birthday - Madison's reply was......

"I got a BENCH!"
(meaning her kitchen!)

Scrub, Scrub, Scrub-a-dub

We had a family trip planned to Eildon for the "Melbourne Cup" Long Weekend.

The thursday night before we were to leave, Sarah (my Sister-in-Law)

still had some last minuite shopping to do.

I offered to have my Niece's and Nephew over for dinner and

to get ready for bed while she was out.

Here is how the night unfolded........

There were 4 in the tub.........

Charlotte (16mths), Megan (19mths), Madison (nearly 3),

Jacob (3) and Brooklyn (5) was in the shower behind me

A great splashing time was had by all.

I even managed to get their hair washed and them all sparkling clean by the end.

It was then bottle time and Megan, Madison and

Charlotte all wanted in on the action.

It was a crazy but fun night!

A camping we will go

I have to honestly say that I am not the biggest fan of camping -

especially when it is raining -

and you get 30mm in a very short space of time.

We were camping at "Blue Gums Caravan Park" in Eildon.

It is a beautiful place when the sun is shining.When the rain set in - Megan set herself up with a chair - some chips and "Blues Clues" on the portable DVD player and she was set !

A friendly game of cards was in order - as the rain was pouring down.

This is our Tent - or more commonly known at the "TAJ MAHAL"

as it is rather large and I like to have all my creature comforts.

One of the nights it was raining so hard that Scott couldn't get down to the bathroom to brush his teeth so he leant out the Tent to brush them.

As he did so he saw an old lilo floating past our tent.

We were just glad that none of the water made it into our tent.

hey all loved thier little camping chairs.

It's how you use the time you have.....

Because of the yucky weather we had while we were away we did

a few road trips - we went to Mansfield -

where the girls were able to go on a Stage Coach ride and

where I was able to purchase Megan the most wonderful

purple sparkling gumboots.

On our next trip we them went to Wangaratta -
it was a very long drive

(actually it was the same distance had we driven home!)

Our little Megan was exhausted -

But this photo is proof of what Madison can get up to when

she is awake and bored...... poor Megan

The bike was very handy - they all loved having a ride.

Megan is the staring "master" and she will try and stare

anyone down that she can.
